Lagos

Alive

Blessed
Lagoons, Palms, Creeks, Beaches

Dangerous

Filthy

Lawless
Okadas, Pedestrians, Policemen, Politicians

Painful
Rape, Robbery, Murder, Violence

Suffering

Throbbing
Rallies, Riots, Uprisings, Teargas, Koboko, Fire Power, Alaiye, Armies

Ulcerous

Waste.

@ Cheetarah - Please share the molue story... You are brave!!

@ Ms Zee - I think you forgot the "smells"... teehee!

@ ONB - Yes I do love it. But I can't help but be depressed by the appalling conditions here. EVERYthing is falling apart. Economic growth in the country has done nothing for the poor man on the street here... except giving him a GSM.

@ YMW - I'm great thanks! Back to Oxford Street on Saturday.. sob!!

@ Daddy's Girl - I wonder what Lagos would taste like? Something pretty foul I imagine... Perhaps like Isi Ewu? I tried that yesterday... Yuck!!!!

Cannot imagine now, how I lived here 25+ years ago, as a teenager. It does not look different. Same old VW minibuses.
