AH the familar sight of the beautiful madness and chaos called Lagos!Making me remeba the first time I attempted a molue ride!Lol, now thats a story!Howz Nija treating u?
ahhh!!! the sights and sounds and feels of lagos...
In spite of it all, thats the Lagos we know and love
So evocative - I can almost taste it...
@ Cheetarah - Please share the molue story... You are brave!!
@ Ms Zee - I think you forgot the "smells"... teehee!
@ ONB - Yes I do love it. But I can't help but be depressed by the appalling conditions here. EVERYthing is falling apart. Economic growth in the country has done nothing for the poor man on the street here... except giving him a GSM.
@ YMW - I'm great thanks! Back to Oxford Street on Saturday.. sob!!
@ Daddy's Girl - I wonder what Lagos would taste like? Something pretty foul I imagine... Perhaps like Isi Ewu? I tried that yesterday... Yuck!!!!
You got this so right- the madness that we can't help loving
LAGOS....
That pic just has to be Oshodi...i doubt if anywhere can be rowdier...
Cannot imagine now, how I lived here 25+ years ago, as a teenager. It does not look different. Same old VW minibuses.
